"St. Petersburg Export Support Center" was established by the Government of St. Petersburg on December 12, 2019 as part of the implementation of the state export strategy and the program of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to support non-primary non-energy exports.
The main purpose of the Center is to promote the development of export activities of small and medium—sized businesses in St. Petersburg and to provide information, consulting and organizational support to companies in the city when entering international markets.
Committee for Industrial Policy, Innovations and Trade of Saint Petersburg (CIPIT). The Committee's area of responsibility: foreign economic activity, foreign economic relations, export support, international cooperation, coordination of export support measures in St. Petersburg and the development of non-primary exports.
The Committee participates in the implementation of the state policy of St. Petersburg in the development of exhibition and fair activities, the promotion of Russian goods and services, the results of intellectual activity on world markets, provides subsidies to companies in order to reimburse part of the costs, including in the framework of export support.
